- Returns
Because each item is handcrafted with care, all sales are final, and returns are generally not accepted. Unless the item is defective or arrives damaged, we do not accept returns or exchanges. This policy guarantees that each piece we produce will stay unique and that we can uphold our high standards of quality. Please contact us if you have any questions or issues about your purchase, and we will try our best to answer them.
- Damaged or Defective Products
In the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged or defective, we are here to assist. After receiving your order, please get in touch with us at info@designsbybase.com within seven days. To better analyze the problem, we might request pictures of the damaged item. We will, at our option, either provide a replacement or a complete refund after reviewing and approving your claim. Please be aware that processing and delivery timeframes may differ because each replacement will be handmade.
- Non-Refundable Items
Certain items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, including:
- Custom Orders: We are unable to provide exchanges or refunds for these items because every bespoke order is created especially for you.
- Shipping Costs: The cost of shipping is not refundable. Only the product’s purchase price, not including delivery costs, is eligible for refunds or exchanges.
We encourage you to carefully review order details before placing custom requests, as these orders cannot be altered or canceled once the crafting process begins.
- Refund Process
Once a return or refund request has been approved, we will begin processing your refund. An outline of the return procedure is provided below:
- Processing Time: After approval, refunds are normally granted in 5–7 business days. This processing time may change during peak times, however we strive to handle all refunds as quickly as we can.
- Refund Method: The original payment method used at checkout will be reimbursed with all refunds. Your refund will be credited to the account you used to make your credit card or PayPal purchase. It can take longer for the money to show up in your account, depending on your bank or card provider.
